PORTUGAL, Oct. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 7: After three straigth defeats, the Panthers bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Moreirense this Sunday.
Boavista dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian defender Lucas in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Panthers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mandiang Idris with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Boavista FC climbed to 13rd place with 8 points from 7 games, tie on points with Vitoria FC.
