Primeira Liga (Week 10) : Boavista defeats Rio Ave 2-1
PORTUGAL, Nov. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 10: After their 1-1 draw against Maritimo on October 29 and 0-0 draw against Estoril on October 29, the Panthers returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Rio Ave this Saturday.
Boavista midfielder Santos Renato opened the score in the 25th minute, before seeing Rio Ave catch up in the 33rd minute thanks to Dias Gil. 1-1 at half time. The Panthers eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Henrique Nuno in the 49th minute.
Boavista FC climbed to 7th place with 13 points from 10 games, only one point behind GD Chaves.
