Primeira Liga (Week 15) : Porto beats Maritimo 2-1
PORTUGAL, Dec. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 15: Three wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Braga and Feirense, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Maritimo this Thursday.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Algerian midfielder Yacine Brahimi in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Silva Andre in the 67th minute.
FC Porto remains in second place with 31 points from 14 games, one point behind SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
