Primeira Liga (Week 14) : Porto beats Chaves 2-1
PORTUGAL, Dec. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 14: Four wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Braga, Feirense and Maritimo, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Chaves this Monday.
Chaves had started off well by taking the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by forward Lopes Rafael. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Dragons nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Depoitre Laurent '72 and Pereira Danilo '77).
FC Porto remains in second place with 34 points from 15 games, one point behind SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
