PORTUGAL, Dec. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 15: Three wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Sporting Lisbon and Estoril, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Rio Ave this Wednesday.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Mitroglou Kostas ('14) and Fernandes Pizzi ('42).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 38 points from 15 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up FC Porto.
