PORTUGAL, Jan. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 16: Four wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Sporting Lisbon, Estoril and Rio Ave, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes this Saturday.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Jonas Oliveira ('19) and Mitroglou Kostas ('42).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 41 points from 16 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
