Primeira Liga (Week 26) : Maritimo beats Arouca 3-1
PORTUGAL, Mar. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 26: After losing 3-0 to Boavista on March 12, the Verde-Rubros returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Arouca this Sunday.
Arouca forward Sami Leocisio opened the score in the 20th minute, before seeing Maritimo catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Zainadine Júnior. 1-1 at half time. The Verde-Rubros eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Keita Alhassane ('62) and Fransergio Barbosa ('73).
CS Maritimo remains in 6th place with 40 points from 26 games, one point behind Vitoria SC, which has a game in hand.
