Primeira Liga (Week 25) : Porto beats Arouca 4-0
PORTUGAL, Mar. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 25: 9 wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Moreirense, Rio Ave, Estoril, Sporting Lisbon, Vitoria Guimaraes, Tondela, Boavista and Nacional, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 4-0 victory over Arouca this Friday.
Soares Tiquinho scored dual goals
Porto dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pereira Danilo ('15) and Soares Tiquinho ('25). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jota Diogo '72 and Soares Tiquinho '86).
FC Porto climbed to first place with 62 points from 25 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
