Primeira Liga (Week 24) : Porto beats Nacional 7-0

PORTUGAL, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 24: 8 wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Moreirense, Rio Ave, Estoril, Sporting Lisbon, Vitoria Guimaraes, Tondela and Boavista, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 7-0 victory over Nacional this Saturday.

Silva Andre scored dual goals

Porto dominated the first half thanks to goals from Torres ('31) and Brahimi ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring five times (Silva Andre '51, '89, Soares Francisco '55, Layún '63 and Soares Francisco '71).

FC Porto climbed to first place with 59 points from 24 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
