PORTUGAL, Mar. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 24: The match between Sporting Lisbon and Vitoria Guimaraes ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Sporting Lisbon players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ruiz Alan in the 35th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Vitoria Guimaraes with a saving goal from French forward Moussa Marega in the 76th minute.
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in third place with 48 points from 24 games, 11 points behind FC Porto.
