PORTUGAL, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 25: After their 1-1 draw against Vitoria Guimaraes on March 5, the Sportinguistas bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Tondela this Saturday.
Bas Dost served up another goal feast
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dutch forward Bas Dost in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Dost '55, '71/penalty, '78/penalty).
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in third place with 51 points from 25 games, 9 points behind SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
