Primeira Liga (Week 33) : Tondela defeats Arouca 2-1
PORTUGAL, May. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for Tondela. After their 2-1 win against Vitoria Setubal on May 7, the Auriverdes continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Arouca this Saturday.
Pedro Nuno scored dual goals
Arouca midfielder Crivellaro Rafael opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Tondela catch up in the 11th minute thanks to Pedro Nuno. 1-1 at half time. The Auriverdes eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Nuno in the 78th minute.
Arouquenses remains in 15th place with 32 points from 33 games, 2 points behind GD Estoril Praia, which has a game in hand.
