Primeira Liga (Week 33) : Chaves and Rio Ave play out 2-2 draw
PORTUGAL, May. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 33: The match between Chaves and Rio Ave ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Chaves players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Chaves midfielder Fábio Martins in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Tiba Pedro goal ('68) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Rio Ave with goals by Guedes Helder ('59) and Monteiro Tarantini ('90).
Rio Ave FC remains in 7th place with 46 points from 33 games, 3 points behind CS Maritimo.
