PORTUGAL, May. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 32: Two wins in a row for Benfica. After their 2-1 win against Estoril on April 29, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 1-0 victory over Rio Ave this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Mexican forward Jimenez Raul in the 75th minute.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 78 points from 32 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up FC Porto.
