PORTUGAL, Apr. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 31: After their 1-1 draw against Sporting Lisbon on April 22, the Eagles bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Estoril this Saturday.
Jonas Oliveira scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Jonas Oliveira in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Jonas Oliveira in the 66th minute.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 75 points from 31 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
