PORTUGAL, Apr. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 30: After losing 2-1 to Tondela on April 15, Rio Grande bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Arouca this Friday.
Rio Ave dominated the first half thanks to goals from Junior Jubal ('41 own) and Krovinovic Filip ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, Rio Grande further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Monteiro Tarantini in the 57th minute.
Rio Ave FC remains in 7th place with 42 points from 30 games, 2 points behind CS Maritimo, which has a game in hand.
