Primeira Liga (Week 29) : Tondela beats Rio Ave 2-1
PORTUGAL, Apr. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 29: After losing 0-2 to Estoril on April 9 and 2-1 to Vitoria Guimaraes on April 9, the Auriverdes returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Rio Ave this Saturday.
Rio Ave defender Ferreira Marcelo opened the score in the 9th minute with an own goal, before seeing Rio Ave catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Krovinovic Filip. 1-1 at half time. The Auriverdes eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Osorio Yordan in the 62nd minute.
Rio Ave FC remains in 7th place with 39 points from 29 games, 5 points behind CS Maritimo.
