Primeira Liga (Week 29) : Guimaraes defeats Chaves 3-2
PORTUGAL, Apr. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 29: Four wins in a row for Vitoria Guimaraes. After their success against Rio Ave, Nacional and Tondela, the Vimaranenses continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-2 victory over Chaves this Saturday.
Vitoria Guimaraes dominated the first half thanks to goals from Teixeira Cesar ('12), Hernani Santos ('14) and Hurtado Paolo ('36). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Vimaranenses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Vitoria SC climbed to fourth place with 53 points from 29 games, 10 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal.
