Primeira Liga (Week 30) : Guimaraes defeats Boavista 2-0
PORTUGAL, Apr. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 30: Five wins in a row for Vitoria Guimaraes. After their success against Rio Ave, Nacional, Tondela and Chaves, the Vimaranenses continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Boavista this Sunday.
Vitoria Guimaraes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Peruvian midfielder Hurtado Paolo in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Vimaranenses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hernani Santos in the 48th minute.
Vitoria SC remains in fourth place with 56 points from 30 games, 8 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal.
