Primeira Liga : Rio Ave finish 7th after beating Belenenses
PORTUGAL, May. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 34: After their 2-2 draw against Chaves on May 14, Rio Grande returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Belenenses this Saturday.
Rio Ave dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Guedes Helder in the 7th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Rio Grande further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dias Gil with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
