Primeira Liga : Benfica crowned champions
PORTUGAL, May. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 34: Benfica was held to a 2-2 draw by Boavista on Saturday.
Boavista players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Boavista midfielder Santos Renato in the 16th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Schembri goal ('52) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Benfica with goals by Mitroglou Kostas ('71) and Kalaica Branimir ('90).
