PORTUGAL, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 6: Four wins in a row for Maritimo. After their success against Boavista, Portimonense and Rio Ave, the Verde-Rubros continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Aves this Saturday.
Pinho Rodrigo scored dual goals
Maritimo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pinho Rodrigo ('17, '40). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Verde-Rubros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
CS Maritimo climbed to third place with 15 points from 6 games, tie on points with Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
