Primeira Liga (Week 9) : Porto beats Paços de Ferreira 6-1
PORTUGAL, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 9: After their 0-0 draw against Sporting Lisbon on October 1, the Dragons returned to winning ways with a 6-1 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Saturday.
Moussa Marega scored dual goals
Porto dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pereira Ricardo ('4), Felipe Augusto ('18) and Marega ('25, '33). Leading 4-1 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Corona Jesus '65 and Aboubakar '72).
FC Porto remains in first place with 25 points from 9 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
