PORTUGAL, Oct. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 9: After their 1-1 draw against Moreirense on October 1 and 0-0 draw against Porto on October 1, the Sportinguistas returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Chaves this Sunday.
Bas Dost scored tripple goals
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dost ('6, '15) and Acuna Marcos ('39). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Acuna Marcos '58 and Dost '75).
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in second place with 23 points from 9 games, 2 points behind FC Porto.
