Primeira Liga (Week 10) : Maritimo beats Tondela 2-0
PORTUGAL, Oct. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 10: After losing 3-1 to Vitoria Setubal on October 21, the Verde-Rubros bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Tondela this Saturday.
Maritimo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pinho Rodrigo in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Verde-Rubros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Valente Ricardo in the 57th minute.
CS Maritimo climbed to fourth place with 19 points from 10 games, 4 points behind SL Benfica.
