Primeira Liga (Week 11) : Porto beats Belenenses 2-0
PORTUGAL, Nov. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 11: Three wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Paços de Ferreira and Boavista, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Belenenses this Saturday.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mexican midfielder Héctor Herrera in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Aboubakar seconds before the end of regulation.
FC Porto remains in first place with 31 points from 11 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
