Segunda division (Week 6) : Numancia and Girona play out 2-2 draw
SPAIN, Sep. 28, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 6: Girona was held to a 2-2 draw by Numancia on Sunday.
Numancia players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Palanca in the 21st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Rodriguez goal ('88) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Girona with goals by Mata ('49) and Jandro ('90).
Girona FC remains in fourth place with 11 points from 6 games, one point behind Real Sporting de Gijon.
