SPAIN, Oct. 5, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 7: After losing 1-0 to Alcorcon on September 28, Los Pepineros bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Tenerife this Sunday.
Leganés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Garcia in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pepineros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lazaro in the 72nd minute.
CD Leganés climbed to 12nd place with 9 points from 7 games, tie on points with Deportivo Alavés.
