Segunda division (Week 16) : Gijon defeats Lugo 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 7, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Sporting Gijon. After their 0-1 win against Mallorca on November 30, Los Rojiblancos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Lugo this Sunday.
Aganzo opened the score in the 14th minute, before seeing Sporting Gijon catch up in the 32nd minute thanks to Jony. 1-1 at half time. Los Rojiblancos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Perez in the 79th minute.
Real Sporting de Gijon climbed to second place with 32 points from 16 games, tie on points with UD Las Palmas, which has a game in hand.
