SPAIN, Dec. 7, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 16: After losing 1-0 to Lugo on November 30, Los Chicharreros returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Racing Santander this Sunday.
Racing Santander made Tenerife doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Vitolo on penalty in the 53rd minute.
CD Tenerife climbed to 16th place with 18 points from 16 games, only one point behind Deportivo Alavés.
