SPAIN, Mar. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 28: After losing 2-1 to Girona on March 1, Los Numantinos returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Mirandés this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Alvarez with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
CD Numancia climbed to 8th place with 38 points from 28 games, only one point behind SD Ponferradina, which has a game in hand.
