Segunda division (Week 28) : Ponferradina defeats Girona 3-0
SPAIN, Mar. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 28: After a 2-1 victory over Numancia on March 1, the Blanquivermells lost 3-0 against Ponferradina.
Ponferradina dominated the first half thanks to goals from Richy ('17 own) and Sobrino ('28). Leading 2-0 at the break, La Ponfe further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Acoran in the 61st minute.
Girona FC are down in fifth place with 51 points from 28 games, tie on points with Real Sporting de Gijon, which has a game in hand.
