Segunda division (Week 27) : Albacete defeats Ponferradina 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 27: After their 0-0 draw against Real Betis on February 22 and 1-1 draw against Numancia on February 22, El “Queso Mecánico” returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Ponferradina this Sunday.
Cruz scored dual goals
Cruz opened the score in the 34th minute on penalty, before seeing Ponferradina catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Ruiz. 1-1 at half time. El “Queso Mecánico” eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Cruz on penalty in the 71st minute.
SD Ponferradina remains in 7th place with 39 points from 27 games, 2 points behind Real Zaragoza, which has a game in hand.
