Segunda division (Week 39) : Valladolid defeats Barcelona B 3-1
SPAIN, May. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 39: After their 1-1 draw against Osasuna on May 16, Los Pucelanos bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Barcelona B this Tuesday.
Valladolid dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Gumbau in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Perez '62 and Jeffren '82).
Real Valladolid remains in fourth place with 69 points from 39 games, 3 points behind Real Sporting de Gijon, which has a game in hand.
