Segunda division (Week 40) : Las Palmas beats Barcelona B 4-3
SPAIN, May. 23, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: Three wins in a row for Las Palmas. After their success against Recreativo and Osasuna, Los Amarillos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 4-3 victory over Barcelona B this Saturday.
Araujo scored dual goals
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to goals from Araujo ('9, '37). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Viera '61 and Asdrubal '77).
UD Las Palmas climbed to fourth place with 72 points from 40 games, only one point behind Real Sporting de Gijon, which has a game in hand.
