SPAIN, May. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 0-3 win against Alavés on May 20, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Llagostera this Sunday.
45 minutes of play and neither Girona nor Llagostera have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Sandaza in the 76th minute.
Girona FC remains in second place with 78 points from 40 games, 3 points behind Real Betis, which has a game in hand.
