Segunda division (Week 40) : Santander beats Numancia 2-0
SPAIN, May. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: After losing 3-1 to Sporting Gijon on May 21 and 2-4 to Real Betis on May 21, Los Racinguistas returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Numancia this Sunday.
Quique scored dual goals
Racing Santander dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Quique in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Racinguistas further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Quique on penalty in the 61st minute.
CD Numancia are down in 13rd place with 51 points from 40 games, one point behind AD Alcorcon, which has a game in hand.
