Segunda division (Week 40) : Betis defeats Alcorcon 3-0
SPAIN, May. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: Four wins in a row for Real Betis. After their success against Mallorca, Lugo and Racing Santander, Los Beticos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-0 victory over Alcorcon this Sunday.
Castro scored dual goals
Real Betis dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Castro in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Beticos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Castro '52/penalty and Molina '65).
Real Betis remains in first place with 84 points from 40 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Girona FC.
