Segunda division (Week 40) : Mirandés beats Alavés 3-0
SPAIN, May. 23, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: Two wins in a row for Mirandés. After their 0-1 win against Zaragoza on May 20, Los Rojillos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-0 victory over Alavés this Saturday.
Mirandés dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ortiz ('12) and Ruper ('40). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Rojillos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Martin in the 71st minute.
Deportivo Alavés remains in 9th place with 53 points from 40 games, tie on points with SD Ponferradina, which has a game in hand.
