Segunda division (Week 37) : Zaragoza beats Athletic B 2-0
SPAIN, May. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 37: After their 1-1 draw against Ponferradina on May 1, Los Blanquillos returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Bilbao Athletic this Sunday.
Zaragoza dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Lanzarote Manuel in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blanquillos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Diamanka Pape in the 73rd minute.
Real Zaragoza climbed to fourth place with 59 points from 37 games, only one point behind Gimnastic de Tarragona.
