Segunda division (Week 37) : Gimnastic beats Almeria 2-1
SPAIN, May. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 37: Two wins in a row for Gimnastic de Tarragona. After their 3-2 win against Mirandés on May 1, Nastic continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Almeria this Saturday.
Naranjo Jose opened the score in the 36th minute, before seeing Almeria catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Navarro Ximo. 1-1 at half time. Nastic eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Molina Xavi with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Gimnastic de Tarragona climbed to second place with 60 points from 37 games, 3 points behind CD Leganés, which has a game in hand.
