SPAIN, Sep. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Tenerife. After their 1-0 win against Valladolid on September 10, Los Chicharreros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Almeria this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Navarro Ximo into his own net with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
CD Tenerife climbed to 6th place with 6 points from 4 games, tie on points with CD Lugo.
