SPAIN, Sep. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 6: After losing 2-1 to Mirandés on September 18, Los Franjirrojos returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Getafe this Thursday.
Rayo Vallecano dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Galan Ernesto in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Franjirrojos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Guerra Javi in the 60th minute.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to 7th place with 7 points from 6 games, tie on points with Real Valladolid, which has a game in hand.
