SPAIN, Oct. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 9: After their 2-2 draw against Numancia on October 2, the Carbayones bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.
Real Oviedo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Linares Miguel in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Carbayones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Toche Jose on penalty in the 72nd minute.
Real Oviedo climbed to 8th place with 9 points from 7 games, only one point behind Elche CF.
