Segunda division (Week 9) : Almeria and Levante tied at 2-2
SPAIN, Oct. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 9: Levante was held to a 2-2 draw by Almeria on Sunday.
Almeria players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Gonzalez Quique on penalty in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Gonzalez Quique goal ('90) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Levante with goals by Marti Roger ('47) and Jason Salgueiro ('55).
Levante UD remains in first place with 17 points from 8 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Cordoba CF.
