Segunda division (Week 31) : Getafe beats Lugo 2-0
SPAIN, Mar. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 31: After their 2-2 draw against Tenerife on March 12, Los Azulones returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Lugo this Sunday.
Getafe dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Chuli in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Azulones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Molina Jorge in the 73rd minute.
Getafe CF climbed to fifth place with 36 points from 24 games, 3 points behind Real Oviedo.
