Segunda division (Week 29) : Getafe hold Tenerife to 2-2
SPAIN, Mar. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 29: Tenerife was held to a 2-2 draw by Getafe on Sunday.
Getafe players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Molina Jorge on penalty in the 21st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Faurlin Alejandro goal ('86) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Tenerife with goals by Lozano Anthony ('58) and Gonzalez Cristo ('90).
CD Tenerife remains in third place with 39 points from 24 games, 5 points behind Girona FC, which has a game in hand.
