Segunda division (Week 29) : Cordoba beats Zaragoza 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 29: After losing 2-1 to Gimnastic de Tarragona on March 5, Los Califas bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Zaragoza this Saturday.
Zaragoza had started off well by taking the lead in the 44th minute with a goal by Angel Rodriguez. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Califas nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Rodri Rios '70 and Markovic Sasa '90).
Real Zaragoza are down in 9th place with 31 points from 24 games, tie on points with Elche CF.
