SPAIN, May. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 39: After losing 2-0 to Alcorcon on May 13, Los Franjirrojos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Gimnastic de Tarragona this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Manucho Contreiras ('48) and Embarba Adrian ('59).
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to 10th place with 40 points from 32 games, only one point behind Real Oviedo, which has a game in hand.
