Segunda division (Week 40) : Zaragoza and Rayo play out 1-1 draw
SPAIN, May. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: The match between Zaragoza and Rayo Vallecano ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Zaragoza players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Pombo Jorge in the 22nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rayo Vallecano with a saving goal from Embarba Adri in the 90th minute.
Real Zaragoza are down in 8th place with 44 points from 32 games, tie on points with UD Almería.
